How I Passed Cybersecurity Awareness Professional Certification — CAPC™

This blog explains the step-by-step guide to preparing for the Cybersecurity Awareness Professional Certification — CAPC™ exam in 2024 with recommended resources.

If you are a fresh graduate or if you are planning to take a cyber security job, you should start with this certification. This has a series of certifications and this is a very basic foundation level exam. This will help you to know cyber security best practices and ethics. This is provided by CertiProf. For this certification, I recommend you follow the following resources to study well.

How to Prepare

1. Go to https://certiprof.com/
2. Choose ‘Free certifications’ -> Cyber Security Awareness certification.
3. This will open a new tab with exam details. Here choose ‘English’.
4. You will navigate to a login page. If you have a Certiprof login you can use it. If not enter the same Certiprof credentials and signup.
5. Login using above created credentials.
6. Under ‘My Certifications’ you can see the ‘View Product’ option. Click on that.
7. You will see the following page with 7 steps. Complete all until you do the real exam.

Once you complete the ‘Cybersecurity Awareness Professional Certification’ you can do the following exams under Certiprof.
